Nico Rosberg wary of Ferrari at Red Bull Ring

Nico Rosberg is closely following Ferrari's progress at the Austrian GP. The German is certain that the SF15-Ts will perform very well at the Red Bull Ring.

Nico Rosberg wary of Ferrari at Red Bull Ring

If Nico Rosberg only finished 11 thousandths behind the time of Sebastian Vettel at the end of the first day of testing at the Austrian GP, the driver Mercedes remains wary of the potential of Italian single-seaters on the Red Bull ring.

“The test day went pretty well for me. It is quite complicated to adjust the car, but I feel quite comfortable behind the wheel”, declared Nico Rosberg. « Red cars are very strong here. They were very fast with different levels of fuel on board. They are our closest rivals, but the gaps are narrowing on this short track. »

With 86 covered laps on the Spielberg track, Nico Rosberg was a little more diligent than his teammate Lewis Hamilton who only made 77. “We’re going to have to find a few more tenths tomorrow”, added the German.
