Full time in F2 since last season, Roy Nissany has also worn the test driver costume for Williams This year. Thus, the Israeli had a taste of a weekend of racing Formula 1.
In Barcelona last August then at Monza in September, Roy Nissany therefore had the right to board the FW43 for the first free practice session of each round. A chance that will happen again in Bahrain this week.
For the first of two race weekends on the Sakhir track, Roy Nissany will once again drive the FW43. As in Barcelona and Monza, the Israeli will occupy the seat of George Russell.
Present in Bahrain, the Trident F2 driver will also be in Abu Dhabi for post-season testing on December 15. Jack Aitken, reserve driver for the Grove team, will also be there at Yas Marina.
