Norris third in the championship: “An excellent start to the season”
The statistics speak for themselves. After two events in 2020, Lando Norris (McLaren) is the best of the rest, behind the Mercedes. The Briton is in third place with 26 points.
A total made possible thanks to a fifth place acquired at the last minute at the Styrian Grand Prix. Indeed, two laps before the finish, the champion of Formula 3 Europe 2017 was only eighth!

He knew how to take advantage of the daring exchange of arms between Lance stroll (Racing Point) and Daniel Ricciardo (Renault) to overtake the Australian, then the Canadian a lap later. Finally, the car damaged Sergio Pérez (Racing Point, broken front wing) allowed him to overtake the Mexican before the last corner.
