Our revelations on the RB7 front wing

Victory and pole position thanks to Hag, best lap in the race thanks to Webber, Red Bull won everything in Malaysia. The RB7 is simply invincible at the start of the 2011 season. What a genius idea Adrian Newey, its creator, had to make this car so superior to its rivals?

The paddock particularly points to this excessively flexible front wing. Is it regulatory? Yes, according to the rigidity tests imposed by the FIA. The fact remains that the competition is taken aback, not knowing whether or not it should imitate the RB7 to hope to approach its level of performance. At the house of Ferrari ou Mercedes, it is now clear that this is the only solution to achieve this.

The engineers of Formula 1 spend their days looking for loopholes in the technical regulations to benefit from them in their eternal quest for aerodynamic downforce (eg: the affair of the two-stage diffuser in 2009, now prohibited), and it seems that those of Red Bull have knew how to exploit one.

So what's so special about this Red Bull front wing? Flexible ? Come on, the rules prohibit it! Would an electric current modify its solid state? Science Fiction! And why not ? AUTOhebdo carried out the investigation, and it must be admitted that the results are surprising? not to mention fantastic.
