Honda continues its efforts to return to the level of its competitors Ferrari, Mercedes et Renault. To this end, the Japanese engine manufacturer will introduce an evolution of its Power Unit this weekend at the Russian Grand Prix on the Sochi circuit.
Pierre Gasly et Brendon Hartley, the two pilots Toro Rosso, should therefore benefit from advanced parts, particularly around the thermal engine. New developments which should, however, force the two residents of the Faenza team to observe penalties on the grid.
If you hadn't already heard the whispers…
We are introducing some Power Unit updates on both cars here in Sochi. We're looking at more performance in the long term, which does mean penalties here in the short term.#RussianGP #F1 pic.twitter.com/aSSrNjQba8
