New hope to see Marussia again in 2015

Will the 2015 season see Marussia return to the scene? While the Anglo-Russian team has closed its doors, laid off its staff and sold its premises, the team is reportedly on the verge of leaving its administration on February 19. FRP Advisory, the administration in charge of the Manor Marussia file, indicates that Manor GP (still listed on the official FIA list) could have a future.

Geoff Rowley, the representative of FRP Advisory, confirmed that the team had always a chance to be lined up on the grid for the Australian Grand Prix the 15 march. “An investment is envisaged to abandon judicial administration through a voluntary arrangement which would allow creditors to find a long-term solution. We can confirm that negotiations are continuing for the team to be hired in 2015.”

Manor GP would have no choice but to take back the cars from the 2014 season by adapting them to the new regulations if a solution is found. But would the performance gap with the opponents remain acceptable? His presence would in any case allow him to receive the bonus offered for his ninth place in the Manufacturers' Championship obtained last year.
