Nürburgring: Bourdais’ last GP?

Sébastien Bourdais would not finish the 2009 season Formula 1 in Toro Rosso. The information should be confirmed after the German Grand Prix which takes place this weekend at the Nürburgring. Associated to Sébastien Buemi at Toro Rosso, the Manceau would thus pay for its checkered results. With only two points in the Drivers' standings, he did even worse than his teammate, who was just starting out in the discipline.

After the failure in his quest for victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the future of the four-time Champ Car champion could darken a little more. Already this winter, Toro Rosso had waited until the last moment to confirm it for another year. Failing to have convinced during the first half-season of 2009, the ax would definitely have fallen a few weeks ago.

Arriving in Franz Tost?s team at the start of 2008, the Manceau raced in 26 Grand Prix. He scored four points in 2008, when his teammate Sebastian Vettel marked thirty-five. This year, after eight Grand Prix contested, he has two points, one less than his teammate Sébastien Buemi.
