Points target for Sauber

With a brand new duo composed of the Brazilian Felipe Nasr and Swedish Marcus Ericsson, which will evolve on the new C34 presented this morning, the stable Clean wishes to erase a very difficult 2014 season, where the training ofHinwil was unable to score a single point.

“I am delighted with our two new drivers who bring a breath of fresh air, says Monisha Kaltenborn, Sauber Team Principal. They are young, talented and very motivated. While Marcus has already completed a season in Formula 1, this will be the first year for Felipe that he is fully ready for due to his role as a reserve and test driver at Williams last year. I am confident about our drivers. »

“After a difficult season, we want to move forward and fight in the middle of the pack like the team did before,
adds Marcus Ericsson who will start during the first winter tests at Jerez in Spain this Sunday. In F1, it is difficult to have precise objectives, because everything depends on the package. It is clear that we want to fight for points. »

“For my rookie year, there will be a lot to learn, especially since I have not yet driven on certain circuits, specifies Felipe Nasr, entered last year in the GP2 Series with the Carlin team. Overall, I feel ready to take on this challenge [?] and I hope to bring my experience from 2014 to help Sauber get back into the points.
