Ocon: “I reached my full speed”
Esteban Ocon arrives in Montreal for a new race with the status of a rookie on the track.
« Montreal is still a new circuit for me so Friday will be a learning day, he expresses himself. I know the route well thanks to video games and the simulator, and I have always liked its characteristics."
Despite a disappointing Monaco weekend from which he left without a point, the Force India driver is confident for the next races and in particular the Canadian Grand Prix where his engine Mercedes will be beneficial to him.
« After the bad luck in Monaco, I want to find the points in Montreal. The car is getting better with each race and I think I've reached my full speed now.
« I'm really happy with the team and the way we work together: we've already established a good relationship of trust and they know what I need from the car. »
Strengthened by the regularity of its pilots, Force India firmly in fourth position in the constructor's championship and Esteban Ocon is 10e of the drivers' championship with 19 points.
