Ocon: “I’m not going to give up”

Esteban Ocon is undoubtedly the big loser of the transfer season. With the exception of Mercedes who will keep Lewis Hamilton et Valtteri Bottas in 2019, all the other teams decided to review their crew for next year.

Victim of Force India takeover by Lawrence Stroll, Lance's father, Esteban Ocon finds himself without a contract for the next season. A shame when we see the results of the 2015 GP3 Series champion who has already finished in the points 8 times this year, sitting in 11th place in the Championship, 3 points behind his teammate Sergio Pérez.

Esteban Ocon nevertheless wants to display a fighting spirit and does not intend to let this twist of fate get him down.

“I must thank everyone who sent me the kind messages of support I received every day. We have been through difficult situations and we have always overcome them. There has not been an easy path in my career as you know. I can promise you that I will not give up at this point. I have great motivation and seeing my former rivals in top cars strengthens my desire more than ever. »

" I dream F1, I move F1, I eat F1, I play F1, I think F1… I was born to race and my only goal is to become champion and it will always remain so. See you this weekend", commented Esteban Ocon on Twitter, shortly after the announcement of the arrival of Charles Leclerc at Ferrari who will have the opportunity to show off again this week at the Singapore GP.
