Optimism at Force India

The 2015 edition of the British Grand Prix marks an important milestone in the season for the Force India team. It was in fact on its home race that Vijay Mallya's team introduced the B iteration of its VJM08. A development expected by Sergio Pérez and Nico Hulkenberg who had not had the expected start to the season. The winner of 24 Hours of Le Mans admitted his satisfaction at the end of the first British day.

“It’s a problem-free Friday. When you have a new package, it's exactly what you need and we've been able to rack up some good mileage. We found performance immediately : from the first laps, I had a positive feeling and that's an encouraging sign. With new parts on the car there's always a steep learning curve, so we'll have to study the data closely tonight to find a little more room to optimize, but I'm really optimistic. » explains the German.

Sergio Pérez remained in the same state of mind, emphasizing that this Evo B finally met the expectations of the Indo-British team. « I think we have clearly taken a step forward, and that's what the team was waiting for. » One of the main new features visible on the VJM08 is at the muzzle which now includes two openings.
