The episode of the crane on the track at Suzuka is still being talked about. This Sunday during the Japanese Grand Prix, Pierre Gasly, who received a 20-second penalty and a deduction of two points from his license, did not lose his temper after crossing the path of a towing vehicle which was on the track to evacuate the Ferrari de Carlos Sainz, gone to fault. An event which does not fail to revive memories of the tragic accident of Jules Bianchi on this same circuit.
The FIA communicated on this subject after the race: “While it is normal to evacuate cars under safety car and red flag conditions, due to the special circumstances and taking into account the comments of a number of drivers, the FIA has launched a thorough review events involving the deployment of recovery vehicles during the Japanese Grand Prix. It is part of standard practice to debrief and analyze all racing incidents to ensure continuous improvement of processes and procedures. »
Several pilots reacted to this situation, notably Lando Norris and Sergio Pérez who expressed their dissatisfaction and incomprehension on social networks.

An investigation led by the FIA, not certain that it will succeed!! If at least the FIA had a sort of IGPN like for the police... One thing is certain, the culprit will not be called Michael MASI

The FIA is investigating the FIA! It's not the first time, but as usual the result will be perfect! Life is not beautiful! Seriously, who can tell me what the FIA actually does in everyday life. It's very discreet to say the least. What I have observed over the decades is that they are strong on shoddy regulations, stupid fines and stupid penalties.
