Sebastian Vettel should escape the grid place penalty at the Japanese GP played this weekend at Suzuka. The pilot of the Team Ferrari severely damaged its SF70H after the finish of the Malaysian Grand Prix following contact with the Williams FW40 Lance stroll.
The damage was significant enough to raise concerns that the gearbox would need to be replaced, but Scuderia Ferrari ultimately confirmed that the item would be good for service at Suzuka.
