No problems with the brakes for Kimi Räikkönen

This season, the rear brakes of the single-seaters are managed electronically. Hence certain difficulties for the drivers and numerous missed braking during winter testing and in Australia. A new system that Kimi Räikkönen refuses to question when asked about his average start to the season in Melbourne. “I don’t know where that comes from, that’s not the question and there’s nothing wrong with the system, explained the 2007 world champion, during the press conference held in Sepang. Someone asked me about it after the race and I said that's not it. It’s mostly a matter of putting everything together and getting the car I want. We are working on some new things for me and I hope that when we have everything in place it will be easier and I will have a better feeling. Obviously it hasn't been the ideal start, but it's going to be a long year and I'm sure we can continue to improve. »

Kimi Räikkönen finished 7th in the first race of the season in Australia a fortnight ago. He will be on track at the wheel of the F14 T tomorrow morning, at 3 a.m. French time for the first free practice sessions for the Malaysian Grand Prix.
