After a 2014 season in DTM punctuated by a victory at the Lausitzring, Pascal Wehrlein was able to progress in the seat of the Mercedes W05 Hybrid for this last day of testing in Abu Dhabi.

" I really appreciated. It was a wonderful day, explains Wehrlein. It was the first time I drove this car. We accomplished the planned program without difficulty. The difference between a DTM car and a car de Formula 1 is quite important, so that was the challenge for me today, especially with the brakes. I was also able to improve throughout the day, which is important. »

Accustomed to the in-house simulator, Wehrlein hopes to continue this momentum next year. “I love the work I do there. I hope I will continue in 2015 so that I can learn even more. These tests will undoubtedly help me to give better feedback. »
