Pat Fry: The rain helped Ferrari

After the winter tests and the first Grand Prix of the season, Ferrari looked gloomy given the performance of the F2012. However, Fernando Alonso was able to take advantage of the precarious grip conditions in Malaysia to achieve a victory to everyone's surprise. Since then, the men of Maranello have improved its car and the double world champion took off at the head of the championship in front of the drivers Red Bull.

« If the race had taken place in the dry in Malaysia, the story would have been different, explains Fry to Autosport. I don't think we can hide behind the fact that the weather helped us. Do I think we would have been the fastest in qualifying in the dry? Currently, no I don't think so, but over the last two sessions in the wet, it was very impressive. »
