Sergio Pérez arrived at the Monaco GP in 12th place and thus missed the points like his teammate Lance stroll. But it wasn't the race result that stuck in the Mexican's mind due to an unusual Grand Prix incident.
As he left the pits following the intervention of the safety car, Sergio Pérez narrowly avoided two marshals present on the track.
“I almost killed him. They are fine ? », immediately questioned the Racing Point driver on his radio, fearing he had hit one of the two men.
After this moment, it was very content with mid day! We can all move to our homes with our families. Hope we did not pass by the security of the marshals! #MonacoGP #Checo11 pic.twitter.com/jBhLgMqFVd

“After this incident, I’m just very happy with the outcome of today. I am relieved that we can all return home safely to our families. For the safety of the commissioners I hope this never happens again.", commented the Mexican on Twitter.
