Perez: “I have never felt so good behind the wheel of the Red Bull”

4th this morning and author of the best time in the afternoon session, it's a Sergio Perez over the moon at the end of this first day in Baku, who addressed the media: “I am very happy today and how these tests went. We have made great progress.”
The Mexican driver claims to have worked a lot after Monaco to better understand the behavior of his car : “We did in-depth analyzes after Monaco and today I understand the car perfectly and how I should drive it.” Checo also believes he had the best Friday since the start of the season and hopes to put in a good performance tomorrow during the qualifying session: “This is the best Friday for me in terms of data and comfort in the car. To tell the truth, I have never felt so good behind the wheel of the Red Bull than today. I hope to have a clean lap tomorrow in qualifying because that's when it really counts. Before that, we still have a lot of work to do tonight.” Sergio Perez only beat his teammate Max once Verstappen in one lap since the start of the season, it was at Imola.
