Sauber seemed well on its way to securing 6th place but a series of poor performances at the end of the season caused the Swiss team to fall to 7th position behind Toro Rosso, which has ensured good finishing positions over the last few race weekends. Sergio Perez clearly highlights a lack of performance of the C30, which proves particularly handicapping in qualifying.
“The problem is very clearly lack of performance”, assures the Mexican. “We no longer have enough speed since the last races and we are particularly struggling in qualifying. We are better in the race but it is difficult to start from where we are starting. I was able to score a point in India but I had a very bad qualifying. We were constantly in difficulty when the car had an empty tank, this is where we need to improve. »
