The memory of Jules Bianchi will be very present again this weekend at Suzuka, almost a year after the dramatic accident of the French driver, who died on July 17. On the sidelines of the Japanese event of the World Championship F1, his father Philip Bianchi spoke on RMC, and explains some of his ideas for the future.
“I think that for Jules, there are still actions to be taken. These are ideas, there is nothing advanced yet but for example, I would like to create a foundation to try to help young pilots who have talent but not much means. Try to help them, give them the means to have a future in motorsport.
From (Hungary), I know they (F1 drivers) are favorable and thatthey want to help us create this foundation. Financial assistance through auctions of their helmets, etc.? But it still remains a project. »
