Despite his natural phlegm, Oscar piastri can't help but notice the obvious. The momentum he's been building since the start of this season is completely in his favor. The way he's handled the most important opportunity of his career so far leaves no doubt about his status within his team, but more importantly, on the grid as a whole. Without his slight error

Piastri, following in the footsteps of the greats of F1? Yes, most certainly, when you see his exchanges with Verstappen. It's obvious: he did the right thing by seizing the McLaren opportunity and leaving the fold.Alpine whose management seems increasingly disastrous!

Piastri has become, from the start of his 3rd season in F1, the undisputed boss. He plays cat and mouse with Verstappen, manipulating him as he pleases, taking him at his own game with disconcerting ease. No other driver in F1 manages to do that. As for his teammate, he doesn't even have to fight, he just has to let him get tangled up in the carpet at each GP. It's almost a shame, because it's becoming very likely that there won't be a fight for the title this year. The ball is in Norris's court, who has only one way out: to find the composure and racing intelligence of his teammate to hope to reach his level. But it's not going to be easy, I increasingly see Piastri as the successor to Prost or Lauda, he has the same assets.
