- Oscar piastri as boss. The Australian claimed his second victory in 2025 by winning the Bahrain Grand Prix this Sunday. Starting from pole position, the driver McLaren was never really worried, neither by George Russell, nor by Lando Norris, who both finished on the podium without having been a threat to victory. The Melbourne native managed his race perfectly at the front and only needed to deal with a safety car (deployed due to debris on the track, following a collision between Yuki tsunoda et Carlos Sainz)… and a hydration system that did not work on the Sakhir circuit.
- The podium finish for this Bahrain Grand Prix is still provisional, as George Russell is under investigation by the stewards for improper use of his DRS at the end of the race. The Briton, who spent the entire race in 2nd place behind Oscar Piastri, saw his Mercedes dropping him lap after lap in the final moments. With several sensors out of order, the Englishman had to manually activate his DRS several times and unfortunately, it seems that the Englishman activated it at the wrong time. This possible infraction is currently being analyzed by the stewards.
- Lando Norris made up for his missed qualifying opportunity on Saturday. The Briton climbed back up to 3rd place, ending up in George Russell's exhausts under the checkered flag. However, nothing was easy for the championship leader. Initially given a five-second penalty for his poor grid position, Lando Norris struggled to shake off the Ferrari. Nevertheless, with this podium, the McLaren driver retains the championship lead with 77 points, against 74 points for his teammate Oscar Piastri.

- Alpine finally opens its points counter in this fourth Grand Prix of the season! The arrowed A can once again thank Pierre Gasly, author of an impeccable race. Placed on the second grid in the middle of the Top Teams, the Norman stayed in contact with the best throughout the race. With a successful strategy and finally successful pit stops, the Frenchman managed to finish in 7th place and secure his first six points in 2025. His teammate Jack Doohan, long in the Top 10, tumbled down the rankings in the final laps and finished 15th.
- Ferrari had long hoped to finish on the podium this Sunday in Bahrain. With its two drivers, the Scuderia tried an offbeat strategy by starting on medium tires. A choice that seemed to be paying off... until the Safety Car appeared. Starting on hard tires, Charles Leclerc et Lewis Hamilton were unable to contain Lando Norris and had to settle for the places of honor, in 4th and 5th place respectively.
- A very complicated Grand Prix for the team Red Bull. Max Verstappen was never able to move up the order of the day, hampered by a haphazard strategy from Red Bull on hard tires mid-race and long pit stops. Indeed, the pit stop validation light was not working and remained stuck at red, which disturbed the Red Bull drivers during their stops. The Dutchman finished 6th after overtaking Pierre Gasly on the last lap. Nevertheless, the team can be satisfied with its first double finish in the points in 2025, as Yuki Tsunoda scored his first points with his new team, finishing 9th.

- More points for Esteban Ocon. The day after his qualifying accident, the Frenchman played a great game and perfectly managed his strategy and tires to climb back to 8th place. On the other hand, the third Frenchman on the grid, Isack Hadjar, was in difficulty this Sunday. After a bad start, the Racing Bulls driver tried to change his strategy by stopping very early in the race, without success. The rookie crossed the line in 14th place.
- There was only one retirement to note in this Bahrain GP: that of Carlos Sainz. Despite starting in the top 10, the Spaniard suffered again in the race: after a late first stop, the new driver Williams has fallen down the order of the order. After the restart after the Safety Car, the Madrilenian was first given a ten-second penalty for pushing Andrea Kimi Antonelli outside the track limits, then he made contact with Yuki Tsunoda, damaging his right sidepod and forcing Williams to retire the Spaniard's car with around ten laps to go.

A Grand Prix that's far more interesting to watch than the Suzuka procession! Battles within the pack on a circuit more conducive to overtaking... and even pushing one's limits.
