Pic: Caterham F1 has a good handle on the situation

After impressing during his rookie season at Marussia F1 Team, Charles Pic will compete in his second year in the discipline, this time defending the colors of Caterham F1 Team. The Frenchman will be the most experienced driver in his team this year since he will ride alongside Giedo van der Garde. The new recruit of the Malaysian team hopes to do better this year at the Australian Grand Prix where he took last place last year (15th) behind Timo Glock.

“I can’t wait to return to Melbourne”, assures Charles Pic. “This will be my first race with Caterham F1 Team and it should be a good weekend. It's nice to leave the European winter behind for the warmer weather of Australia. Even if we are a little destroyed by the trip, I feel in good physical and mental condition and it should not be a problem. The first free practice session should be calm because the track is very green, but it changes a lot over the weekend and you have to take time to exploit the best potential of the tires in the qualifying lap. After the tests, we feel ready to start the competition. We have a good idea of ​​where we are at the start and I think we have a very interesting season ahead of us. »
