Pierre, why did you decide to join Alpine ?
First of all, it's a real career choice and an extremely exciting transition. I close a nine-year chapter with Red Bull. There has been quite a bit of success, with my victories acquired in promotion formulas, then the five years in F1 with Monza, the podiums and also the passage through Red Bull. It's a chapter that closes and a new adventure that begins. By joining Alpine, I feel like I'm taking off on my own, after so many moments spent in the Red Bull house. It’s an adventure that I really want. I strongly believe in their project. I thought a lot about my future, everything doesn't happen overnight obviously.
