Pierre Gasly, good spirited but still bitter, regrets the missed podium in Monaco

Si Alpine celebrated his first podium of the year with Esteban Ocon in Monaco last weekend, Pierre Gasly appeared still assigned to Barcelona. The Normand in fact believes that he was one pit stop away from getting on the box. A missed opportunity that he still regrets.

Usually, just missing an opportunity to get on the podium – when you don't have the chance to be called Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen ou Fernando Alonso and collecting them for years – is already a huge disappointment in itself. So imagine when you also have to deal with the fact that your teammate got on the box and received all the honors, that makes things even more difficult to swallow. In Barcelona, four days after the Monaco Grand Prix, Pierre Gasly still seemed disappointed and marked by not having been able to get this 4th career podium.
