Pierre Gasly at home in Suzuka

After an encouraging performance in Malaysia for his first Grand Prix, Pierre Gasly can't wait to ride Suzuka (Japan) on a circuit that he already knows better than the Sepang track.

« Since I'm racing in Japan this year, explains the Rouennais, I came for the first time to Suzuka this winter, for the Super Formula tests. It wasn't much, just two and a half days. And then we drove there for the first round of the season."

For his first race at Suzuka, the Team Mugen driver finished 10th at the start of the season. Last week for his first F1 Grand Prix, the driver Toro Rosso finished in 14th place while his teammate Carlos Sainz had to dismount following an engine problem.
