Pirelli reveals its tire choices for the 2021 season

Pirelli revealed this Friday its tire choices for all 23 Grands Prix of the 2021 season. Almost all of them are similar to those of the previous year or 2019.

For the meetings in Azerbaijan and Brazil, Pirelli is planning a selection that is a bit softer than the rest. Concerning the two new Grands Prix (Netherlands and Saudi Arabia), the transalpine manufacturer opts for different choices: a harder selection for the first, the second a softer game.

« Announcing all the selections for the year at once will help teams and drivers in their organization, recognizes Mario Isola, Pirelli competition manager. This also allows us to have better flexibility in case the schedule changes due to the pandemic as we saw last year. ».

The first meeting of the season is scheduled for March 28 in Bahrain.
