If several Grands Prix are in danger and certain projects seem to be at a standstill, the return of Mexico next year et the arrival of Azerbaijan in 2016 clearly demonstrate the desire of the management of the F1 to move to a calendar of more than 20 events. While Pirelli has extended its contract for the next two seasons, the Italian manufacturer is necessarily analyzing this news with interest since a more extensive calendar will bring it even more visibility even if the more numerous trips will also bring difficulties in terms of logistics.

“The more travel you have, the more value you create because you benefit from better visibility”, Pirelli sporting director Paul Hembery told Crash.net. “So we are not against having more races.
