Modified track in Singapore

The route of the 2015 Singapore Grand Prix, which will take place at night on the weekend of September 18-20, has been slightly modified by the organizers. The new features are located in the second part of the circuit (see infographic).

Turn 11 will remain to the right, but will have its entrance modified, with a track that will approach the left side of Fullerton Road. The speed of passage compared to 2014 will be slower. Cascade, turn n°12 left will also be modified, the track passing on the left line of Anderson Bridge before heading towards turn 13.

This famous hairpin on the left will be widened by one meter to allow more overtaking possibilities, as officials explain. These changes follow several developments in the Singapore Civic District area in connection with the 50th anniversary of the city-state's independence.
