Several names cited in the Swissleaks affair

The Swissleaks affair revealed by several newspapers involves several personalities from the F1. The HSBC bank accused of having helped these customers to evade tax would thus have rendered a service to Fernando Alonso, Michael Schumacher, Heikki Kovalainen and Flavio Briatore.

Fernando Alonso was quick to counterattack by threatening to file a complaint against the media behind this publication. “Fernando Alonso asked his lawyers to file a complaint against several media following the attack on his dignity”, we can read in a press release from the double world champion sent to the EFE agency.

The Swissleaks affair is, however, only in its early stages and further revelations are expected.
