For Leclerc the race “won’t be easy”

Despite his passage to Q3, Charles Leclerc could not do better than the 9th fastest time in the qualifying session. In difficulty at the wheel of his SF1000, the Monegasque fought as best he could to get as close as possible to the leading car, in vain as he explained on Canal+.

" VS'was very difficult. We weren't that bad at the start of qualifying and then it got worse and worse. In the end we really had a lot of understeer. An understeer that we can't really fix and that we've had for quite some time so we have to work on it because it's not easy ».

This Sunday, Charles Lerclerc hopes to be able to move up the rankings but he is especially wary of the peloton behind, with a strategy different from his own.

« I will try to give my best. It won't be easy because I think that from 11th place the drivers will start with medium or hard tires. I think this is the preferred strategy here in Barcelona so it won't be easy. We will try to give everything and we will see ».

The Spanish Grand Prix will start tomorrow at 15:10 p.m. and can be followed live on our website via our live text.
