We could have expected Brazil, with the amount of rain on the track and the changeable nature of the conditions. We could have heard Monza or Baku, at a time when the Red Bull was at its lowest point in terms of performance. We wouldn't have been shocked either with an Austin or a Mexico, given the elbows-out operation he engaged in. But Max Verstappen Hungary replied when asked which Grand Prix he considered to be the most stressful of the year.

A quick reminder of the facts: Max arrived in Budapest with an 84-point lead at the halfway point of the season, and seemed to have the situation well in hand. Except that McLaren signed a double, and that he could not do better than a 5th place, after having attempted a desperate dive at the first bend which resulted in a collision with Lewis HamiltonThe Dutchman had also widely railed against the strategy proposed by his team that day. Gianpiero Lambiase, his engineer, not happy to be criticized in this way, had asked him to stop his childishness.

"Let's just say that Hungary was particularly eventful. I prefer not to think about it too much and talk about it honestly. The least stressful? It was Abu Dhabi, because there was nothing left to play for, the two titles were decided on our side, both for the drivers and the constructors."All's well that ends well for Red Bull and Max Verstappen, who together won a fourth consecutive drivers' title.

Lovely flowery exchanges in Hungary between the Batavian and his Italian engineer indeed! And discussions between 4 eyes followed...
