Mazepin sees Hamilton as world champion ahead of Verstappen

During an open-hearted interview, the team's rookie driver Haas did not hesitate to praise the seven-time world champion of the discipline, whom he meets in the paddock, at the Grand Prix since the start of the season.

“When I was 5, 6, 7 years old, I only watched Michael Schumacher, confesses Mazepin. I wanted to become like him. Then, as I got older, I started to admire Lewis. For what he does on the track, of course. But above all because he was the first to show us that there is more than that. That you can also do a lot more outside of racing, from interests, like fashion, to charity work. My hero driver is Michael, my role model human being is Lewis. »
