Esteban Ocon has hailed the "remarkable talent" of his future Haas team-mate Ollie Bearman following the young Briton's performance in Azerbaijan.

Ollie Bearman has once again scored points this season. For his second Grand Prix in Formula 1 after replacing Carlos Sainz in Ferrari In Saudi Arabia, the young Briton filled in Kevin Magnussen in Haas in Azerbaijan where the Dane was suspended. And for the second time this year, the young man climbed into the top ten by snatching the point for tenth place on the streets of Baku.

A performance that earned the Chelmsford (United Kingdom) native the praise of the man who will be his teammate at Haas in 2025: Esteban Ocon. " What he did in Baku was truly remarkable, greeted the French pilot in Singapore in remarks relayed by the official website of Formula 1. I think everyone in the paddock knew he had a remarkable talent and what he did was very impressive, being on the pace straight away on such a technical track.

« It's great for him, for the team, for myself, that he can have a good experience before starting the full season next year. ", adds the current pilot Alpine who will get to know his future colleague better during the off-season.

« We talked a little bit, but we were so busy that unfortunately not enough. We will spend a lot of time together this winter and be able to catch up, so I am not afraid on that side. It is really good to see him shine in Baku and I am happy for him and for the team. »

While waiting for 2025, Esteban Ocon must finish a very delicate end of adventure with Alpine.

Ocon must now count down the days he still has to work at Alpine, while wondering about the level of performance of his future young teammate 2025 ... who could perhaps well overtake him
