In just under 3 weeks, the 2021 season will have delivered its verdict. The champion drivers and constructors will finally have a face and will conclude a historic year, although completely unexpected before it began. With two Grands Prix remaining, it is always good to remember to what extent this season is so exhilarating, indecisive, surprising... It will, without a doubt, mark the History of the F1. Between the duels Verstappen/Hamilton, Mercedes/Red Bull, the off-track clashes and the technical innovations of all, the year was rich. She is likely to delight us for two more weekends, and it is not to displease us.

At the height of the season, when the gap was widest, the two rivals will have had a 32-point difference (in favor of Verstappen, after the Austrian Grand Prix). Suffice to say perlimpinpin powder, out of the 300 and dust that the two pilots now count. The crossovers between the Batavian and the British have been incessant, there are already 6 at this stage. Their consistency is impressive to say the least, with 15 podiums for Verstappen in 20 races, compared to 14 for the seven-time reigning world champion. Only three retirements on either side of a season which includes 22 Grands Prix (a record in this area), including one each due to a collision on the track which will certainly remain in everyone's memories (see below, the Monza episode). Their dominance is outrageous.
