The announcement went through like a letter in the mail, and yet, it is far from being devoid of interest. Antonio Giovinazzi, reserve driver at Ferrari and covered by Team, will pilot for Haas during two free practice sessions 1 in Monza (September 9-11) and Austin (October 23). A run which obviously does not even fit into the compulsory sessions allocated to rookies – which should go to Pietro Fittipaldi – since the Italian already has three seasons of Formula 1 to his credit. Between 2019 and 2021, the former pilot Alfa Romeo had teamed up with Kimi Räikkönen, finishing 17th, 17th and 18th.
