Why Théo Pourchaire is returning to Formula 2

Reigning vice-champion, Frenchman Théo Pourchaire has decided to leave for a third year of Formula 2 with ART Grand Prix. A decision which is not without risk but which is ultimately quite easily explained.

To say that there was neither reflection nor procrastination among Theo Pourchaire during the offseason as to his future would be a lie. After two extremely promising years in Formula 2, which notably saw him reveal himself in the streets of Monaco in 2021 and win the honorary distinction of vice-champion in 2022, the native of Grasse has arrived at a crossroads in his career. Between continuing one more year in the promotion formulas, and trying the adventure elsewhere, the thinking was not easy.
