After a detour through Canada where Max Verstappen signed his 6e victory of the season, Formula 1 returns to Europe and its historic circuits. This weekend, the British Grand Prix marks the start of a marathon of 4 Grands Prix in 5 weeks before the famous summer break in August.

A year after his well-known first lap accident with Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen returns to Silverstone. This time, it is not with the Englishman but with Charles Leclerc that he fights in the championship. In the lead with no less than 49 points, the driver Red Bull has the opportunity to strike a big blow to start his very busy summer in the best possible way.

However, Charles Leclerc will be keen to react after the retirement in Azerbaijan and the engine penalties in Canada. The Monegasque will thus seek to put an end to a series of 6 Grands Prix without success, the last dating back to Australia at the beginning of April.

At home, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell also have hopes of shining. Under the clamor of their public, the British want to perform well and confirm that the two podiums obtained during the last two outings are not a coincidence but proof that the W13 of Mercedes is on the right track.

Concerning the program, the British Grand Prix finds a classic format after inaugurating the Sprint in 2021. Spectators and viewers will therefore be able to enjoy three free practice sessions, qualifying and of course the race on Sunday.
