The cloth, already burning between the F1 and the FIA, is it going up in flames? One thing is certain, the announcement by Andretti of a partnership agreement with the American giant General Motors – via the Cadillac brand – with a view to a potential arrival in F1 of the American team, has apparently a little more highlights the differences in visions, methods and influence between the promoter Liberty Media and the International Federation.

This Thursday, January 5, at 16 p.m. French time and 10 a.m. Detroit time, through a virtual press conference, Michael Andretti, boss of Andretti Global, and Mark L. Reuss, President of General Motors, indeed jointly announced their alliance with a view to entering Formula 1, which they hope is imminent.
