Quaife-Hobbs at Rookie tests with Virgin

What a great reward this is for Adrian Quaife-Hobbs. Fifth in the GP3 Series and highest ranked Marussia Manor Racing driver, the Briton will take part in the first day of the Rookie Tests on November 3 F1 from Abu Dhabi at the wheel of the Virgin MVR-02. This will not be the first time that Quaife-Hobbs will take the wheel of an F1 car from John Booth's team, having already carried out straight-line aero tests twice. He then traveled 150 km in Spain then 200 in England.

“After my two aero tests, I am very excited to ride the MVR-02 again, especially on a real circuit, underlines the 20-year-old pilot. In Idiado (in Spain, editor’s note) and on RAF Cottesmore (in Great Britain, editor’s note), these were purely straight line tests. It was a fantastic opportunity to participate in the development of the car. But this is going to be a real test session. I'm eager to. After successful tests, I am confident about my chances of progressing, of familiarizing myself even more with the car, in the hope of being able to achieve honorable times.

This season in the GP3 Series, the native of Pembury won a victory, reached the podium twice, and signed two pole positions and as many fastest laps in the race.
