At the end of each season, the actors of the Formula 1 like to award small honorary titles, more or less relevant. But here, beyond an honorary title, it is downright a status that we could attribute: that of the best driver on urban circuits or, as F1 likes to call it, the "King of the Streets"!

This mini-ranking is established on the eight meetings of the 2024 season that took place on these urban or semi-urban circuits, namely: Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Melbourne (Australia), Miami, Monaco, Montreal (Canada), Baku (Azerbaijan), Singapore and Las Vegas. The urban circuits still represented a third of the season in 2024.

And so, by combining the results of the eight Grands Prix held on a street circuit, we end up with not one, but two "King of the Streets", since Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc are tied on points with 122 points each. However, there is a slight advantage for the Dutchman who won two victories, in Saudi Arabia and Canada, against only one for the Monegasque at home, on the streets of the Principality. The Top 3 of this honorary ranking is ultra-tight since Lando Norris comes just behind with 121 points, thanks in particular to its two victories in Miami and Singapore.

The other three street circuit victories in 2024 were shared between Oscar piastri (Azerbaijan), George Russell (Las Vegas) and Carlos Sainz (Australia) who all three complete the Top 6 of this ranking on urban circuits. Sergio Pérez, who many were selling as the best driver on urban circuits in 2022 and 2023, is only 8th in this 2024 ranking with no victories and only one podium…

Apart from Monaco, all urban circuits are stupid! What kind of sensations does it bring to drivers to drive on circuits worthy of Formula E... Francorchamps and all the other real circuits outside cities are the only ones to bring something to drivers and spectators! Look at the circus in Las Vegas where the organization announces 400.000 spectators, when in reality there were 75.000 real ones???? But time is money in the USA.....
