Räikkönen: Ferrari SF15-T is “another story”

If Kimi Räikkönen did not appear comfortable at the wheel of the F14 T, the Finn seems much more satisfied with the Ferrari SF15-T with which he completed his first day in Jerez (Spain). The 2007 world champion did not set the best time, finishing two tenths behind the Sauber C34 of Felipe Nasr, but his tests were still satisfactory with 92 laps completed without incident.

“The package looks better than the one we finished last season with. We have made progress in all sectors”, declared Kimi Räikkönen at the end of the third day of testing. “It's only the first day (for me) and we still need to improve a lot of things, but it's a positive starting point that we can work on. It's a lot different than at the start of last year's testing. We usually know if a car is good or not and it's a completely different story this year."

Kimi Räikkönen will still be able to work on the Ferrari SF15-T during the final day of testing in Jerez.
