Räikkönen: Lotus F1 Team has not evolved

Kimi Räikkönen finally took advantage of a qualifying session without any problems to place himself at the forefront at the start of the Chinese Grand Prix. However, the Finn did not expect to fall so far behind the leaders, the E20 of the 2007 world champion being seven tenths behind the Mercedes W03 by Nico Rosberg. Iceman hopes that the conditions will be better to be able to use the full potential of the E20.

“It wasn't too bad but I'm disappointed with the gap that separates me from first”, recognized Kimi Räikkönen. “I think we were stronger in the previous event. The position on the grid is good but I am disappointed with the performance of the car. Others have evolved but not us. There car couldn't go any faster even though we tried to make it faster. Usually our car is good in the race but it would need to be warmer, that would help us while hindering the other teams. »
