Red Bull further improves record for fastest pit stop

1''88, this is the new record established by the team of Milton Keynes at Hockenheim, with a record pit stop for the stop of Max Verstappen. A maneuver which allowed the Dutchman to increase his lead at the head of the German Grand Prix, Sunday July 28:

Ironically, the previous record for a pit stop was set by… Red Bull, during the previous round at Silverstone (1''91)! The Austrian team had broken another record established by Williams in Baku in 2016 (1”97).

Thanks to this great performance, Red Bull widens gap with Williams in the ranking established by DHL for the fastest pit-stops, with 306 points on the clock compared to 216 for the English team.
