Red Bull confirms engine partnership with TAG Heuer

Here, Red Bull had confirmed its partnership with the Swiss watchmaking company TAG Heuer. More than just a sponsor, the brand will put its name on the Power Unit Renault V6 turbo / hybrid which will be retained by the Milton Keynes team in 2016.

“TAG Heuer has been an icon in the world of Formula One for many years and we are delighted with their choice to continue their involvement by teaming up with us, comments Christian Horner, Team Principal of Red Bull Racing.

We are also happy to see Renault confirm its long-term commitment in F1 and I would like to thank them for their contribution to the team since 2007. Their technical partnership with Ilmor gives us confidence, and we look forward to the 2016 season.”

Renault had indeed confirmed its return as a full-fledged team starting in 2016 last night via its president Carlos Ghosn.
