Red Bull half satisfied

The qualifying session put an end to a hectic day for Red Bull. During the third free practice session, Sebastien Hag thus broke its engine and forced the mechanics to perform feats to change it in record time. “ We had to make a significant effort to change the engine and deliver a competitive car for qualifying. », Explains Christian Horner, the team director.

For his part, Sebastien Vettel was rather satisfied with the progress of the session where he took the 4th time. “ I would have liked to be higher on the grid but I think that's the best we could hope for, so I'm quite happy? especially because I didn't do many laps this morning. I am quite confident for tomorrow because we took a step forward this morning but also in qualifying. »

His Australian teammate was not in the same state of mind after only setting the ninth fastest time. “ We thought we would be in the top 6 or top 8, so it's not a good day for us. It's even one of the worst qualifying sessions we've done but we'll see how we behave. We will fight like crazy as usual », concluded Mark Webber.
