Pirelli has requisitioned the services of two teams to carry out the first tests on its new 2017 tires. After Scuderia Ferrari Monday and Tuesday at Fiorano, with the main focus of work on wet track tires (intermediate and wet), it is Red Bull Racing who started two days of work this morning, with a modified RB11 entrusted to Sébastien Buemi, former pilot Toro Rosso, world champion WEC 2014 and winner of the Formula e in 2015-2016.
The Swiss was able to test the Italian manufacturer's dry track tires, with a total of 82 laps completed this Wednesday. Red Bull and Pirelli will begin a new day of testing tomorrow. The Italian firm will resume testing at the beginning of September.
