Red Bull in search of a 5th constructors' title, follow the United States Grand Prix in live text

The Circuit of the Americas in Austin (Texas) hosts this weekend the 19th round of the 2022 season of the World Championship Formula 1. This will be the tenth time that COTA will host the United States Grand Prix. The start will be given at 21 p.m. (French time) and it will be followed in live text, on AUTOhebdo!

For the 2nd American race of the season, it is Carlos Sainz who will start from pole position, after having claimed the scalp of Charles Leclerc (2e) and Max Verstappen (3rd) during qualifying on Saturday. The Monegasque will start 12th after application of an engine penalty of 10 places on the grid. THE Red Bull could be crowned in the constructors' championship this weekend: for this, they must not concede more than 19 points on the Ferrari. Sergio Pérez, also penalized on the grid, will start in 9th place.

The second line is made up of the two Mercedes, with Lewis Hamilton in front of George Russell. The surprise of qualifying, Lance stroll, will start 5th with his Aston Martin, before Lando Norris, Valtteri Bottas et Alexander albon. French side, Pierre Gasly will start 11th whileEsteban Ocon, in difficulty on Saturday, is only 17th on the starting grid.
