Red Bull is the latest team to return to the track ahead of the season kick-off at Spielberg on July 5. The Austrian team made the short journey between Milton Keynes from Silverstone (United Kingdom) to carry out a promotional run with his Honda-powered RB16 and review the health protocol now in force in the garages.
The British Alexander albon took the wheel of the latest creation by Adrian Newey and Pierre Waché but will not be able to exceed 100 kilometers on the track, the limit set by the regulations. His teammate Max Verstappen did not make the trip to Britain due to the quarantine measures currently in force in the country.
The Dutchman should have traveled to the United Kingdom two weeks before this day of testing and the team decided in agreement with its star driver that the game was not worth the effort. The eight-time Grand Prix winner will therefore go directly to the Red Bull Ring, without having driven beforehand. However, we would be very surprised if this penalized the boy...
