This Saudi Arabian Grand Prix continued after the podium. The two leaders of the championship were summoned to the commissioners, and Max Verstappen received a 10-second penalty for untimely braking on lap 37. A new sanction therefore, after the 5 seconds already imposed on the track for going out of track limits during this same lap. “For me, that’s not it. Formula 1 » the Dutchman grumbled in a radio message at the end of the Grand Prix. At a press conference, Christian Horner was not upset.

“We're over-regulated, and then the referee... there are rules for 10 car lengths, a formation lap is not a formation lap if it's a restart. There are many lessons to be learned from this race which will be discussed at length in the weeks to come ».

The boss of the Austrian team launched a dig at Michael Masi, declaring that he missed Charlie Whiting, a former racing director who was renowned for his firm decisions.

“I feel like there are too many rules. Formula 1 missed Charlie Whiting today, I'm sorry to say. With the experience he had... it's obviously frustrating, it's difficult for Michael Masi and the marshals, especially on this type of circuit, with the amount of debris and the types of turns. It's the same for everyone ».

The team Red Bull lost big this weekend in the Manufacturers' Championship, with the retirement of Sergio Pérez, caught in an accident in the 2nd standing start. Third place in Valtteri Bottas clinched in the last turn of the last lap and the victory of Lewis Hamilton allows to Mercedes to be 28 points ahead.

To see Lewis after the finish, he stops F1 if he is world champion (Rosberg style)

Hornet should at least have the decency to recognize his strategy of constantly flirting with the rules, instead of always blaming others. There are rules, he has the right to play with the limit or the inaccuracies, but he has the duty to accept when he gets caught. But beyond that, the problem is that it is almost impossible to overtake MV without being taken out.
